Maud A. W. Hinchee, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer
Hinchee joined ArborGen in September 2000 following an 18 year career at Monsanto. Hinchee built ArborGen's technical platforms and has overseen the development of key technical breakthroughs, enabling the commercial application of biotechnology toward the genetic improvements of several tree species, including pine and eucalyptus. She has authored more than 40 scientific research articles in the area of plant biotechnology, culture and morphogenesis, and is credited as inventor on seven patent applications.

Hinchee holds a Ph.D. in botany from the University of California at Davis, an M.S. from the University of Washington, and a B.S. from UC Davis.
